1. Assess your readiness for self-employment by looking at the qualities, skills and personal/ financial circumstances that make a good entrepreneur. Click here for articles that will assist you.

2. If you're currently or will soon be unemployed, you may qualify for the Ontario Self-Employment Benefit Program (OSEB), mentoring for up to 52 weeks to help you start your business, and income support as determined by the Employment and Training Division of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MCTU). 3. If you are not eligible for the Self-Employment Benefit Program or are ready to start your business more quickly than the OSEB process allows, you can still obtain training and mentoring from our qualified and enthusiastic advisors. Click here for a list of our fee-for-service options.
