Our Cafés are back in session. An updated schedule with our 2010 dates & topics will be posted soon.

February 18, 2010: Risky Business

Do you have a Risky Business? No, not that — we’re talking about hazards in the workplace!

If you’re thinking those only apply to places like factories & restaurants, read WSIB’s list of Top 10 Workplace Hazards — it includes everything from Repetitive Strain Injury (a common problem in offices) to Fire Protection and even Violence in the Workplace. A serious accident to yourself, or to one of your employees, for example, could have devastating consequences for your business. As a responsible owner, you must be able to assess and to guard against potential hazards in your enterprise, as well as to comply with the appropriate government regulations.

Join us for our February 18th Café with Hazel Henry of the Ontario Service Safety Alliance to learn how to start preparing your business. Hazel will also be presenting a series of
free workshops from February to May with additional essential information - check our Business Services page for details.

7:30am -  8:30am

Fee: $10.00 per session, payable at the door

Registration is required to obtain a seat! Bring a friend, but please note that registration and payment are required from each person attending.
